I am now craving cream cheese all the time. This is a little different from our first pregnancy when all I wanted was cheetos and sausage McMuffins. I have been trying to eat a lot better as well.
I have a new glucose device attached to my belly that measures my blood sugar throughout the day so I don't have to test every 2 hrs like before. I notice peaks of highs and lows at certain times of the day which I have been trying to avoid. Instead of resorting to eat carbohydrates for everything, I am trying low glycemic index foods or more protein based food items. So far I am doing much better reducing the frequency of blood sugar peaks. My main food items now are: eggs, cheese, hummus and carrots when I get hungry.
Onto other news, we find out the gender next week. Team Blue or Pink!! I might take another poll as see what others think.

Week 15
I am happily wearing all my maternity clothes. I have no clue why some people don't like wearing them. It is like I am wearing pjs everyday. I have to savor these moments because this most likely will be our last pregnancy.
I am starting to feel some kicks here and there. It is very exciting!! I tried to get Colby to feel my belly but he just responds with a weird look and insists on punching me. Ohh boy!!!
The following week, Bill and I shared the pregnancy news with our co-workers. I made pink and blue cupcakes. Everyone was really happy. I am glad the secret is out. I can now be fat and happy.
The little bub is now the size of an apple. Hopefully I will upload the sonogram photo this week.
