WEEK FOURTEEN

Caitlyn had a doctor apt today.  Technically it should have been made at a later date since it was suppose to be at 4 months,  but nonetheless Dr. Mason still saw us and Caitlyn got some shots.  She cried and cried, but thankfully not for long.  It is so hard watching your baby cry and knowing they are in so much pain.  Shortly after the appointment, she fell asleep.  Our big girl weighs 15lbs now and is 25 inches.  Height is 95% percentile and weight 85%.  I guess I am doing a great job feeding.

After her apt, I had some one on one time with Colby and we went to the gym.  It was the first time I had been to the gym since I went back to work.  It felt great.  I ran for 7 minutes (my record so far) without stopping.  Then ran for another 6 minutes after a walking break.  Not bad for not going to the gym in 3 weeks. I am trying to lose this second pregnancy weight but it is not disappearing as fast as I hoped.

Caitlyn's personality is really showing now.  Her dimples are the cutest.  She smiles all the time.  She is also enjoying tummy time a lot more and starting to half roll.  I love my little girl

WEEK THIRTEEN

Ahhhhhhhh. Three months have flown by.  Caitlyn has officially started daycare and is loving it.  I have  to drive to two different schools in the morning so it hasn't been so good for me.  Somehow I have been getting to work early still or right on time.  I am shocked myself.

WEEK TWELVE

The only good thing about returning to work was that I lost 5lbs.  I got alot of happy greetings and some not so happy ones from people who wished I did not return.  i came back to a mess and now i just wish i could hand in my resignation letter tomorrow. Missing the kiddos is not helping either.  I am glad to be getting a paycheck again.  In the meantime, I am going to keep reminding myself that Caitlyn is in good hands even though I wish I could spend all day with her.

Marsha was here for a week to watch Caitlyn and they had a blast together.  She did a great job.  Marsha also volunteered to take Colby for a couple of days in July.  Cant wait.

WEEK ELEVEN

Our last days of going to the gym together are over.  I had a good run.  I took Ms. Caitlyn to the gym for the last 6 weeks and it was very therapeutic.  I don't think I really lost any weight so hoping going back to work will be the deal breaker.  If not, then surgery it is.

Caitlyn has been a chatterbox this week.  She has been cooing and giggling and smiling up a storm.  I love that girl.

Matt and Jessie also came to visit and gave Caitlyn her first cow. Here is some pics from that weekend.
