WEEK TWENTY THREE

Caitlyn is all smiles and rolls.  She even can sit up on her own for short bursts of time.  My little angel is so advance (I am bias of course).

I swear that she even did a little mini push up yesterday.  She will be crawling in no time.

Today Bill and I had our first parent teacher conference with Jessica, Ci Ci's teacher.  I hope I can get a copy and put it on the blog.  She had videos of her and pictures of Caitlyn smiling.  I was so impressed.

WEEK TWENTY TWO

Five months have come and gone so fast.  I can't believe it.   Now it is time for solid foods.  I love when they really start to eat like a little person.

We tried rice cereal on Tuesday and Caitlyn spit it out at first.  It is growing on her.  She was adorable sitting in the high chair for the first time.

Over the weekend we had some very special visitors.  Caitlyn got to meet Shiv and Nandi.  They all had so much fun together.  The boys were lots of trouble.  Nandi loved playing with "the baby."  Nital and Raja were such wonderful friends.  I really appreciate how hard it was to travel with two kids just to see us.  They are great friends.

Here is the little one at her five month snapshot:

WEEK TWENTY ONE

Caitlyn laughs all the time.  She loves to jump and squeal.  It is the most adorable thing I have ever seen.  She also will just stare at anything that is placed in front of her.  Colby is her best teacher.  Their interaction together is priceless.  Colby now loves holding her but she is almost 2/3 his size in weight so he complains how heavy she is.

Some big milestones happened this week:
(1) Caitlyn has mastered rolling over completely--back to front; front to back
(2) She has been doing little push-ups
(3) Sitting supported for longer periods in the bumbo and with pillows
(4) Blowing raspberries in an effort to communicate
(5) She loves her headbands ;-)

Next week solid foods aka rice cereal.

WEEK TWENTY

Grandpa Norman came to visit.  He got to spend some one on one time with each child. He played with them both and saw how truly difficult life is with two children.  It was pretty funny watching him hold Caitlyn.  By the end of the weekend, Grandpa held Caitlyn like a pro.  Colby kept asking, "Where is Grandpa?". They were best buds.  Here is some photos I took of the weekend.

Here is our little princess:

WEEK NINETEEN

Caitlyn is a rolling over pro now.  Everyday like 4 or 5 times.  She is a little show off.
